My client is looking to appoint several technologists with experience in the international oil industry.
Working from other offices within our Group, both in the UK and overseas is also possible.
The successful candidate will join an established team involved in oilfield production chemistry, microbiology, corrosion, reservoir modeling and process engineering, for the international oil industry.
Candidates should possess a formal degree and have suitable experience having held a previous related position in the oil industry.
Experience:
Candidates should have a working knowledge of oil and gas production and/or water injection problems, and the identification and implementation of cost-effective solutions. As a number of job positions are available, candidates with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a degree in a relevant subject e.g. geochemistry, corrosion, reservoir engineering, chemical engineering etc. In addition, candidates should, ideally, have a current offshore survival certificate and a medical certificate which demonstrates the candidate`s suitability for working offshore.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will be responsible for a variety on contracts/tasks within the ever-changing portfolio of consultancy and implement contracts worldwide. These may include: process facility audits, troubleshooting, monitoring, practical sample analysis, data evaluation, reporting and so on. Work is often conducted in a team along with process engineers, to provide input to facilities design as well as involvement in commissioning and operator training. |
