My client is looking to enhance their Sales Team with an experienced Electrical Sales Engineer who will actively promote automation and control component sales and deliver excellent customer service to clients throughout the UK. Prepared to travel around the UK account managing around 80 accounts and occasionally to Austria where full product training will be given.
An exciting and challenging career move, have a strong educational background in an electrical engineering or technical environment and a proven sales track record. Working with a diverse client base, travel to client sites and sell the company`s market leading product portfolio. This role will involve building relationships with new and established accounts as well as identifying and exploiting new business opportunities.
Previous experience in a sales environment, ideally selling electrical/electronic or mechanical components. With excellent communication interpersonal skills and first class influencing skills will also need to be customer focused and have a flexible approach. A recognised technical qualification in electrical engineering (BTec Diploma for example) or equivalent experience in a similar background would be highly desirable, along with a working knowledge of MS Office, Power Point and Excel.
Salary of £25,000 + bonus (OTE £30k) available for this role plus company car, laptop, mobile phone, satellite navigation and an optional stakeholder pension as well as 23 days holiday. Based Lancashire.
