Location: Candidates for this role will need to be based in Warrington and should have: Good honours degree in civil or structural engineering Г 2 + years relevant experience. Г Assessment of structures subject to normal and extreme loads (natural and/or man made hazards) Г Good interpersonal skills to work individually and in teams Г Written and verbal presentation skills necessary Г UK and international travel likely. Current areas of work include: Г General structural or civil engineering; Г Structural design/assessment of buildings and process plants; Г Extreme load assessment of new and existing facilities; Г Seismic and wind retrofit design; Г Facility risk surveys The candidate will join a team of engineers dealing with structural and process plant assessments against extreme environmental hazards including wind and seismic.
