Position:
IVB Team Leader/Coordinator

Role:
The role of the IVB Team Leader, or Coordinator, is to fulfill the day-to-day technical supervision and management requirements of defining, conducting, reporting, following-up and close-out of IVB verification activities. The role will be in relation to a contract to provide IVB services to either a project or an existing asset. IVB services will be in accordance with UK Safety Case (2005) Regulations or alternative - as per client specification.
Experience and qualifications:
· Minimum of 10 years experience in the oil & gas industry providing certification, classification, design appraisal, or verification services for project execution and/or operations/maintenance contracts.
· Minimum of 5 years experience of preparing and/or implementing written verification/examination schemes.
· Fully familiar with integrity assurance/verification of SCE/HSECES codes, standards and legislation associated with international companies and legislative regimes.
· Engineering degree or demonstrated competence and experience for 5 year longer than defined above.
Responsibilities include:
· Selecting the IVB Services team required in coordination with the Project Manager
· Preparation of a Written Scheme of Verification
· Preparation of Written Schemes of Examination
· Management, supervision and recording of the IVB activities included in the Written Schemes
· Establishing communications with the client, contractors and sub-contractors are required by contract scope of work.
· Carry-out/supervise IVB activities;
Ø Review and audit of management system and procedures including competency
Ø Review and accept the identification of SCE/HSECES and their associated Performance Standards
Ø Review and examination of design, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning documentation, records and activities
Ø Examination of the performance of SCE/HSECES equipment and systems on operational asset sites
Ø Coordinate with Project Manager and Administrative Assistant regarding logistical arrangements at all required site(s); travel, accommodation, visas, transportation, training, etc
Ø Supervise the planning of all IVB activities within the project execution schedule or operations inspection/maintenance planning - as appropriate
Ø Review/approve all Verifier reports and issue to client
Ø Supervise recording of all IVB activities and regular reporting in line with Written Scheme/Contract requirements
Ø Review/accept client responses to all verification findings/recommendations
Ø Supervise the establishment and maintenance of an IVB Findings tracking and close-out management system
Ø Liaise with and provide reports to the Project Manager in relation to contract progress and status
Ø Attend internal and external progress and technical clarification meetings as required
· Provide ad hoc support/clarification requests relating to all IVB findings
· Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding scheduling of resources and manning requirements overall
