The role includes the full lifecycle from creating an architecture to meet the customer`s requirements, implementation and integration into the final system and involves close collaboration with software colleagues. In addition, the role includes provision of technical support to customers using the Company products.
The work is varied and at the leading edge of technology. The Company works very closely with semiconductor vendors and participates in early access programs.
The candidate must be organised and methodical with a "can-do" attitude. This is a customer facing role which would suit an engineer looking for a more commercial aspect to their career. This is a senior role with the opportunity to lead projects from inception to completion.
Candidates should have significant relevant post graduate industrial experience for this senior position, good written and presentation skills are essential. The role may occasionally involve visiting customer sites (UK and abroad). The ideal candidate will offer a broad set of skills including:
Ø VHDL for FPGAs, ideally Xilinx
Ø Modelsim
Ø DSP in FPGAs
