My client are currently looking for a SCADA / PLC Engineer position to join their expanding offices in West Yorkshire.
You will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of SCADA / PLC design, assisting the Engineering team to achieve agreed company goals and objectives.
Key accountabilities:
To be responsible for assigned SCADA / PLC development activities involving design, development and technical liaison with suppliers, engineers and site activities associated with the projects when allocated.
To develop the SCADA / PLC in accordance with the requirements of the project specification as defined and thus meeting the requirements of the Client.
Skills:
Microsoft Office, InTouch / WinCC, Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000, AutoCad, Visual Basic, SQL
Competence Profile:
The ability to effectively communicate using both verbal and written communication that delivers high levels of confidence in those dealt with.
A strong technical background with high levels of commercial acumen.
The ability to meet the expectation of both internal and external customer, clients and suppliers through a sound understanding of their requirements, being responsive to their needs and exceeding their requirements.
Employment & Educational Background:
The ideal candidate will have experience in Electrical engineering, preferably within an office environment.
Specific experience of LV or MV switchgear or associated products would be a distinct advantage, as would a good educational background to at least ONC standard in Electronic/Electrical Engineering. |
