Job Summary / Background: The Company is currently looking to recruit an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join their team based in Lostock. The successful candidate will implement an efficient MEI maintenance and installation service to both internal and external customer in order to achieve the quality, performance and safety standards of the company. Role details: Г Analyse faults, rectify and ensure correct operations of Electrical systems based equipment thereby optimising the availability of process dependant plant Г Perform planned maintenance activities on key plant thus ensuring that the required levels of service to customers are achieved Г Organise Apprentices day to day activities, thereby providing an environment for effective time utilisation within the department Г Maintain required financial control of a pre-defined FSE budget, thus supporting departmental objectives to keep within prescribed financial limits Г Train and assess other FSE`s, Apprentices & Operations Controller in electrical, mechanical or instrumentation skills thus enhancing the overall levels of technical expertise available to the company Г Provide accurate and complete plant performance and repair information for subsequent data entry into the MAMS system thereby enabling both the maintenance service and the long term performance of process assets to be adequately analysed and hence, improved Г Analyse and recommend solutions to reoccurring maintenance problems therefore ensuring that treatment processes are operated with optimised efficiently Minimum criteria - Skills, knowledge & experience: Г Educated to HNC, ONC or equivalent in a relevant technical area Г Experience of working in the water industry Г Knowledge of safe systems of work, company policy and operation & maintenance procedures Г Excellent organisation and communication skills
