Job Title: CNC Setter / Operator - Miller/Turner
Location: Sheffield
Line Manager: Chargehand / Supervisor
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Objectives:
To set, operate and program CNC machines in an efficient manner to help achieve the financial targets of the business within the constraints of ethical trading & good engineering practice. To work a flexible shift pattern.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed you may be required to perform other duties assigned by your manager as reasonably required.
Required Skills:
Previous CNC Milling or Turning experience.
Ability to set and operate more than one machine as and when required.
To be motivated with a "can do" attitude.
Main Duties
To produce a high quality product - By setting and operating CNC milling and Turning machines ensuring quality workmanship at all times.
To maintain and improve productivity - Work in line with company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met.
Maintain set-up sheets - As required and in line with company procedure.
Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy at all times - By keeping machine and all associated tools and equipment in a clean and tidy manner.
Work within a safe environment - By ensuring all company procedures and Health & Safety legislation is followed at all times.
