Working within a small but active team of engineers engaged in the design of generators and complete installation solutions. Production of detail and installation layout drawings and bills of material, all to strict timescales. Liaison with clients, consultants and suppliers, plus technical support to other areas of the business.
Ideally qualified to HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with experience in mechanical applications design, perhaps in the plant or machinery field. Building services experience may also be considered relevant. A flexible and practical approach to developing design solutions is required for this varied role.
Proficiency in the use of AutoCad LT essential, together with familiarity with the MS Office program suite.
Preference will also be given to candidates with Solidworks 3D modelling experience.
