Application for: Lead Software Engineer
Refno: V17007/6
Area: Derbyshire

My client are currently looking to recruit a Lead Systems Engineer to join their existing team.
You will be an accomplished automation engineer with a good working knowledge of all aspects of systems integration, from automation hardware and software through to field instrument devices and control equipment.
You will be driven and confident working with modern PLC software applications but perhaps more used to developing complex SCADA applications, using the latest technologies available.  You may also have experience with integration of visualisation and database management systems, or at least be willing to develop those skills.

As a customer facing engineer you will be considerate, respectful and professional in all dealings with their clients, yet self-assured and convincing when necessary.
You will be equally at ease working as leader of project team, as you are working alone on smaller projects, when circumstances require.
Naturally, you will be an effective team leader and be committed to successfully completing project deliverables in a timely manner and within budget.
Through your studies you will have attained an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a related engineering discipline, preferably in electrical or electronics.

Ideally you will have worked regularly with at least one these products, to advanced level, in order of preference:
InTouch/Application Server, RSView32/FactoryTalk View SE, Proficy (iFix) or WinCC.

You are an accomplished user of at least one of the following applications, in order of preference:
RSLogix 5000, Step 7, GX Developer IEC, Unity.

You may also have used an electrical hardware design application, such as AutoCAD Electrical.
